2. Check the webpage, go to grid status
3. Page says the grid is down
4. Folow link to LL Blog 'For additional details about system upgrades, maintenance, outages, or other known problems'
5. Shake head.....
6. Go check the forums
7. Find Char's post
8. Repeat #5
Forum bad! Blog good!
We have been hearing this from LL for weeks now. Read the blog! Nothing good here, move along, go to The Blog! Last I looked it had been about 40 minutes since Char's post in the forums and still nothing on The Blog.
Considering the grid status page explicitly links to The Blog and I'm sure not all users (especially newer ones) know about the forums AND last but not least the fact that the forums are disappearing, the Lindens should really get thier procedures in order.

During the grid outtage tonight they told us to look at the blog for details. So i did like a good little sheeple.. I didn't see a damn thing about the outtage... So i checked the forums and WOW a post about it... I swear if their gona make us look at their blog they better keep the thing update. c.c

The same thing happened last time. The BLAHg showed nothing for a long time.
If we are supposed to be sold on that crap they are pushing they can at least try to make it seem believable.
