Just a question for anyone who's actually done this and knows for certain what the banks' response is.
I was told, possibly wrongly, that if I called in and said that my credit card was possibly compromised by LL's database, they'd replace my card number - but also tell me that, if I gave the card number to LL again, it was at my own risk (because having been bitten once it's my own fault if I go back). Of course this would make it impossible for me to maintain an SL account. Has anyone actually had their bank tell them this?

My bank(s) have never asked anything beyond "when?" _____________________
