While the repetitive use of the same dance clips at various speeds, along with the alternatively self-depreciating and self aggrandizing messages, did lend a certain surreality to the film, ultimately it was the unnecessary sexual imagery that undid it for me. Had the imagery contributed to the surreality somehow, it might have worked. As is, it simply presented a jarring sexualized image of a female in the middle of a film.
I was also hoping for a modern codec (mp4 or H.264) in a QuickTime container. I do so enjoy individuals making antimonopolistic statements in their choice of technologies. I do not recommend this film for any upcoming machinima festivals. ~Ulrika~ _____________________

Ulrika, if you watched the video i think at the end it says sorry it sucked because his net was down and he only had a few clips while he made the video, and if your close minded enough to think that a nakkid body is revolting or disrespectfull I am sorry for you.

As someone who is creating art for the community, I owe it to billy to give him an honest review of the film, telling him what I like and don't like and why. Full reviews are much more useful to artists than generic "attaboy" posts. As can bee seen from my review, I never stated that "a nakked body is revolting or disrespectfull". Instead I found that the jarring sexualized image of a female in the film did not contribute to the surreality of the other footage. Wow, its good to see you guys remembered me (even if you are spitting on my fake grave) I havent been around much because i moved again.. in korea now.. and they broke my computer during shipment so im stuck using my laptop (which as you know isnt best sl quality) until my new computer comes in.. should be tomorrow..
ill have to hit you guys up so i can get the latest.. and get the drama ball rolling again, only kidding i would like to speak with you guys again though.. miss some of you! you wanna know whats funny though? Linden lab has banned my billy madison account (yes this is billy's alt) from the forums.. yea they can take my 200.00 a month for over a year but i cant be a dick and goof off on the forums.. go figure eh? im sure jeska has a voodoo doll and once she reads this i wont be able to access the forums on this account either and i will suddenly have severe pains  |
