Well that was wierd... :)

I just experienced severe lag.... I think...

The SIM (Bona) seemed to be running ok and I was logged in as one of my alts, mooching about as one does when I decided to log off and log back in as my main AV. I happened to come in just to the side of where I was originally and there was my alt, standing there bold as brass.... and it didn't disappear immediately....

Anyone else ever experience this odd experience...

P.S. must do something about my alts appearance...

Used to, when you quit SL it would go 'OKAY LOGGING YOU OFF PLEASE WAIT 10 MINUTES' and the program wouldn't actually close until you were completely disconnected. Now what it does is the program tells the server 'OKAY ALEISTER LEONOV IS LOGGING OFF NOW' and then just closes, and the server logs you off at it's own leisure. You can observe this if you log off and then immediately try to log back on, you'll get a message such as 'The region has begun the logout process, please try again in a few minutes.'

So what you saw was just your previous connection that the server hadn't got around to completely logging off yet.

Ahh... I wondered about the logging back in too quickly thing....I've lost count of the number of times I've hit Ctrl Q instead of Ctrl 1 and tried logging back in too soon...
