High-res slurl logo anyone?

I emailed Torley on this, but decided to hit two fronts at the same time.

Anyone have a high-resolution SLurl logo? It's to add functionality to the PDF version of Digital Traveler magazine, coming out hopefully tomorrow if I can track this down.

By high-res, I mean at least 150dpi, preferably 300dpi.

Thanks!

i dont know, but i kinda doubt it since the logo was made for computer display, and not print display, which dpi has no effect

You never know. Someone in a Linden computer its a high-resolution file, then shrunk down and optimized for the web. Many businesses share high-res logos for promotinal purposes.

Can't you take the pic into photoshop and change hue to bw, contrast it, export black as eps.. and bang! you vectorized it.

from jackXsquat to 300dpi you could cut wood with it

altho if you have illistrator or inkscape or simmilar vector program you could convert the bmp to lines and scale it however you want and fill it back in

thats what i would do if you cannot get an offical high res image from the lindens

Gimp has easy export to eps preserving the colors of the original image too. Much better than the lame eps export plugin in photoshop.

Actually the way to do it takes like 2 hours, what you need to do is make paths in photoshop or gimp, and export the paths, those are vectors, but photoshop wont preserve the colors, while in gimp this can be exported to any postscript like format w / color preservation of the underlying layer.

Thanks, Torley, and yes, it would be a good addition to the fansite kit. I would like to see original PSD or Illustrator files in the fansite kit now that the topic has been rasied.

I think there's a project to revamp the fansite kit--in the meantime, now:

HERE IT IS!!!
