Yes. They really give people a false sense that their opinion should be publicly known.

No, I wouldn't. I'm not going to list all my reasons because I'm too lazy.

Unless you other 2 have noticed. Only the sandbox is full of insane babble, look beyond that and see the opportunities new businesses are missing out on now if the forums close.

You're Just being selfish, if you don't like the forums, DON'T COME HERE, but don't deny everyone else the right for somewhere to chat other than in-game.

I don't see anybody behind you forcing you to post here, if you don't like it, don't come, don't post, F off...

I'm just sad that LL has chosen to go this route when they could very easily have gotten more in touch with the community rather than less.

Of course no. And what a pity.

Yes. The negative now outweighs the positive, the cost outweighs the benefit, and the bad outweighs the good. Therefore any public forums about SL are best left to non-official outlets where SL residents can deal with their own problems... rather than run to - or hide behind - LL for help.

And-yet again-I repeat myself. If you don't like the forums, why be here? I recommend you and everybody like you who think the forums are useless close the window and stick to the game, because you're only here to bitch about how negative the forum is...

Well, guess what! You're adding to the negativity of the forum, so get out of it and leave the ones who want to stay here in peace.

Yes - in a new york minute.

Spend that manpower where its better suited and let the community run its own forums.

And I say that from an educated point of view... I remember these forums in 2003... and see where they've headed from there.

Unless I've misinterpreted, they are here answering the question posed in the thread title.

Polls, I've observed, quite often include "yes" among the choices.
