When I try to login to SL I get a message telling me I need to change my password. When I put my name into the SL webpage... nothing happens. No email. Not even in my spam folder. I've tried twice and waited over half an hour.
Is this broken for everyone? Or do I need to start assuming that the hackers altered the email address on file while they were playing with things?

I too had to wait for a bit to get my e-mail. Took me about... 10 minues, maybe?, to get it.
I will come, given enough time, I'm sure.

From: Tiberious Neruda I will come, given enough time, I'm sure. I bet you say that to all the girls! *giggles* I eventually gave up and went to the web-site password reset, where I was able to use the information the hackers have to demonstrate I'm not a hacker.

I've tried several times in the Last two days and Not received an E-Mail. It MIGHT be their problem, but equally likely, i May have made a Little mistake in typing my Adress into the system, SO i will Phone verify it during the week.

From: Robin Linden Late last night (early this morning?) the web team completed a change to the code that will give you a few more options for resetting your passwords on the website. If you a) don’t have access to the email address on file with us (or the address doesn’t exist), or b) can’t remember the answer to your security question, you may be able to use these options to validate your account and reset your password without waiting to Monday to call. For more information check out the Linden blog announcement . From this forum. I recall a few people, who happened to be online at the time the reset occured, saying they could not get back in for one reason or another at all. In some instances it had nothing to do with their security question or e-mail. This might be the case for you but who knows.
