Anyone have this keyboard? I use it alot in other MMOGs. I love the macro set up on it. The lcd screen is also very cool in some games that support it. Just wondering if anyone has found use for it In SL?

I doubt it is as usefull in SL as it is in other MMO's since SL doesnt really require many or fast keystrokes or hotkeys. Nor is there really much use for macro's like you'd have in combat based games.

Thats nifty, looks like it shows chat in the LCD, or am I viewing those images wrong?
If thats so, I already have a use for it in SL. Less screen clutter!

I just looked at Logitech's website about the Keyboard. Totally useless LCD screen really! Only 2 games support it natively, several others need patched to work. Unless the game is written to use the screen, it doesnt do squat for the game. Just becomes a high-priced keyboard.

Actually in things like World of Warcraft you can set macro's to the keys , letting you macro things you normally wont be able to macro ingame.

I have had a G15 keyboard for a while now. I have set up a number of keys for useful multikey uses in SL. Bring up framerate screen for example. But its use in SL is not as extensive as some of the other games. The LCD display interacts with FRAPS and gives a framerate and graph. The default display gives time and date or memory and CPU load.
Apart from that its a very nice keyboard.

I bought my G-15 during xmas holidays, and recently threw it in the garbage (this past Friday). Why?
-- Crappy matte painted keys and surfaces which most of the keys I use (w,a,s,d,f,e,c,space, etc..) the paint is completely gone to the point of being unable to read the letter. Palm rest sucks the sweat off your palms and discolours the cheap paint. They keyboard looks great when you pull it out of the box.. a couple hours later of use, it looks old and dirty.
-- LED backlighting flickered on and off after about 12 hours use in a day (fine the next day)
-- Little software support (I used LCDstudio to program my own display kpbs up/down, cpu temp, etc.) but forget about most games or iTunes.
-- Finally died on me in the middle of a land transaction on Thursday.
The idea behind the keyboard with the LCD display is nice, but the implementation sucks. Buy a Saytek(sp?) or a Microsoft keyboard instead.

I bought mine back in November (05) to replace a Microsoft Keyboard that had seen better days. I like having the LCD Clock engaged while playing SL, as the in world clock is good only for events and by the time I figure out its 6PM PST and my local time is a few hours later than that... The macro keys I use for gestures, instead of constantly typing /purr, or /bow, or /ike I have them set to the G Keys. Also the G15's game switch is great. I no longer get booted from full screen games, or bring up that damn pesky start menu when I hit those Windows keys. Sure they're USB 1.1 ports, but they're DAMN handy since my main USB hub is full, and my front USB ports on my case don't work. I don't need high speed data transfer when charging my PSP or swapping document files from one system to another. My only problem with the board is the backlighting is blue, I'd like a shnazzy red. But hey, I can live with blue.
