Hi: I have been blessed with a neighbor in my SIM who is a total nut job. He has severe emotional problems and is immature to say the least.
Tonight, my neighbor has erected several large signs over his property stating very damaging lies about me. The signs are 10Mx10m cubes. This guy is a nut job. I would gladly tell you about the background of this incident.
If these signs are allowed to remain up, my reputation within this and the surounding SIMs will be irreparably damaged.
I own nearly 100,000 m of land in this and the surrounding SIMS. Thus, I can not easily leave the area.
In the Real World there is a remedy for this. I would file a lawsuit for libel and make an immediate motion for a temporoay restraing order requesting the court to order my neighbor to take down his sign. If I were to erect a large sign stating damaging lies about Linden Labs, no doubt it would be taken down. Why should linden Labs receive greater protection than its reidents?
By not responding to situatiins such as this, Linden Labs only promotes vigilante justice.
I have filed an abuse report and made several pleas to live help. I am of course getting the typical do nothing response.
What else can I do?

With a thread title that includes "Insane Neighbor", the thread, at least from just looking at the title, appears to meet the "broad interest" criterion for inclusion in the General forum. Possibly "near universal interest".

1) Whine about it on the forums.
2) File an abuse report for personal attacks against the person who put up the signs.
3) Whine some more on the forums.
