i was trying to dig up some old info using http://web.archive.org/ and I had the idea to put in secondlife.com just for kicks,

If anyone doesnt know what this is

The Internet Archive Wayback Machine is a service that allows people to visit archived versions of Web sites. Visitors to the Wayback Machine can type in a URL, select a date range, and then begin surfing on an archived version of the Web. Imagine surfing circa 1999 and looking at all the Y2K hype, or revisiting an older version of your favorite Web site. The Internet Archive Wayback Machine can make all of this possible.

and thus i did, i seen when secondlife was just a missing index file and the domain was for sale and how it changed over the years lol, this is a fun tool to play around with so i was thinking other people could try it out and see what they can find about all kinds of stuff and post the results here, could be entertaining

here is secondlife.com for sale may 25, 2002

Interesting, but doesn't work very reliably. Also doesn't have anything for one of my sites for 2005 or 2006 (just 2001 - 2004).
