I keep occasionally getting the souce code not the usual page. click back and click the link again and it comes in as normal.

Yeah, we discovered a "neat" forum software behavior that was revealed by a PHP configuration change that rolled out this morning. Sorry about that; it's not a conspiracy, promise.
I believe that it's fixed now.
