My friends list doesnt show anyone on unles I IM them and then they show up. If I search it'll show them online but when I open up the IM it still says user not online as well as nothing in the list.
I also am apparently invisible to them until I IM them. Any quick tips or help for this, as I know its a somewhat frequent happening lately?

Shhhh dont tell anyone, but actually it's LL's next stage in their plan to rid the grid of griefers; first, they make everyone appear offline....and then one day the ones they dont like just never come back.

Newfie!! That's how rumors get started!!! Didge, I have heard that offering up a sacrifice to the Linden Gods helps.. virgin anywhere around close by? I heard they favor them most.

Last week, there was an issue with friends' list presense. I'm not sure it was fully fixed, but then, Wednesday is the update, so we'll see

http://secondlife.com/community/friends.php When it happens that your list is broken and you appear offline to others... you might consider it a feature! At that point, you can choose which friends see you online, and which have to figure it out for themselves (unless they too use the web page.) |

Im working on it though! That is also exactly what I was doing.. but oddly enough the friends page was taking forever to load for me.. thought there might be a connection between the two somehow for a few minutes. The same thing was happening to me last night. It showed everyone offline on my list, then if I IMed them(to send them an offline IM) they would come online. I believe it's just some dumbass update they are doing. I believe things will be back to normal if SL is ever up again.. LOL |
