A one dollar sale on skins can do the job pretty nicely. ;)

I think it was all the prim hair and AOs present at the sale :D

my bf is sort of pissed his sim crashing gun will no longer work...guess I'll just have to invite some of my friends over with their AOs on to reset our server from now on ;)

Yeah. I managed to get there for a few minutes towards the end.
Thanks to my FIC connections I managed to get all of the male skins in time.
And at some point I can actually see them when I get a vide ocard.

It was funny, sort of - I rammed my poor hollow head against "the glass" of the sim boundary for a while, and at some point the sim crashed. The sim rebooted, and I made it into the sim while I was looking away, but the time dilation was so great I couldn't tell I was moving, and clicked on close program - once it was too late I noticed the name of the sim in the menu bar. Oh well.

I came back a while later and bought all the fem one dollar skins. The makeup cost enough to require some thought, I assume it was not on sale, so I left to make way for the next customers.

The product line was Nora Fashions, I learned that from typing it into the Find dialog to get there.

The creator's name is one of the long hard to remember one's, starts with Sem*.*

As a publicity technique I would say it was quite successful.

---- addendum ----

Sigh - I only remembered two of the letters in the creators name correctly, it should have read Sez*.*.

See, now this is what happens when you post about a sale, and go to do other things throughout the day, not thinking that it would be nearly as big as it actually was. :)

I suppose I'm just naive about these things, but I am very happy it went so well and so many people got to cash in on the goodies. I only wish it hadn't lagged the SIM so much. *laughs*
