I want to let everyone know that Google's email service, Gmail, is probably the best email service out there (especially because it's FREE)! I've discovered it's an EXCELLENT way to have your own avatar email (mine is sophia[period]caligari[symbol]gmail[period]com). If you're unfamiliar with Gmail and why it's better than email, go here: http://gmail.google.com/gmail/help/start.htmlFor some reason, their service is by invite only, so if you'd like an address, just ask me and I'll send you an invite. Now you can keep all your SL mail separate and organized! (And no, I don't get perks for recommending this service.) lol

Gmail is nice. What's there works, and works well, despite some concerns about what Google actually does with your personal details.
PS: I wouldn't worry about posting an email address (link) on these forums. The SL forums are visible to members only, so there's little chance of them being spidered any time soon.

Yeah, Gmail's awesome.  I've never understood what people's problem with Google etc. mining their data is though. I mean, what's the worst that could happen? You get more relevant spam? Pfft. |
