sound splitter?

ok, i was on yesterday and i asked my friend about a freeware music splitter.. he said like gold....something... was the name of the software. its freeware and i cant find it on google. anyone seen it? i cant get on sl from this comp

Don't upload music into SL. Never mind the fact that it's usually copyright infringement, but you can do the same with the parcel streaming feature, or just boot up winamp and play it yourself.
On top of that, you will be forcing your music on everyone else around you.

in fact, this frustrates me so much, that every time i see you i may drop a follow drone that only targets you and plays the most repulsive annoying music you have ever heard.

oh yeah, DONT TELL ME WHAT TO DO, you have no idea what my intentions to do with this sound file is, i was just looking for a sound splitter to break a shot firing sound out of a sound file.

If you don't want people to respond with their opinions, then don't post it in a forum. Especially in General. Also, you seem a little on edge. I recommend some nice herbal tea. Or a bong. Or 6.

I don't normally post, but cripes, people. Squall, you're probably looking for GoldWave (www.goldwave.com) The demo is shareware, I believe. It has no expiration, but has a limit to how many functions you can use before having to close and re-open it. Don't worry, itll still let you save even when you hit the func limit for that instance.

its called selective listening and its a BAD THING, i was asking for an answer to the question, not a command telling what I should and should not do, theres a difference between a recommendation (did I spell this right?) and a command.

or is this an issue of a repetitive and reinforcing statement?

2/3's of computer software have the name gold in them, if gold wave (or whatever) doesnt work out, go fishing on sourceforge.net altho plz keep inmind some of that stuff isnt finished or windows.
