I feel that a lot of rage is coming from you right now. what's wrong?
Right now, I'd like a bit of honesty from LL (Bwahahaha, oh god, that was an amusing fantasy to even mention).
I'd like to see ONE POST by King Phillip, doesn't have to allow replies, just one post that HONESTLY answers the following questions.
A) Tell us exactly what info was lost, they are typically LL vague and conflicting in current posts.
B) Tell us what they mean by encrypted pament info (that could be several things)
C) If CC info, the level of encryption used so we can access risk of it being decrypted.
D) What they are going to do about it to prevent occurances in the future.
E) WHY they waited two days to tell us about this, rather asking us to voluntarily change passwords then?
F) WHY they did a password change on a friday, then went home with huge numbers locked out until phone support resumes monday?
Right now, we either get silence or referred to the 'we ignore you' blog, filled PR spin / bullshit. I cannot make accurate and informed decisions as to whether to cancel and reapply for a new CC, whether to downtier to remove all CC info from LL's inept hands. or how to handle the current situation. Silence or spin, is all they give, so YES, I am a wee bit hostile towards the Lindens.
Its time for them to stop covering their asses and make an honest and open statement on the situation, right from the top....not from Jeska, or Pathfinder, or Torley. But it won't happen, they lack honesty and the spine to try something new in being honest for the first time.
