Ok, this may have already been discussed, but I am too lazy to search more than a few keywords. http://www.3pointd.com/20060517/3d-milling-service-offered-for-sl-residents/I can see it now... Random Blingtard: "Wow, baby, are those real?" Randomess HoochieHair: "Now they are!" *looks at fake 3D foam boobs on bookcase* MM

Marcus, did you not realize that they are going to be setting up shop on the second Pi sim? http://sldevelopers.com/forums/permalink/473/450/ShowThread.aspx#450

From what I can see of this, it's only the outside shapes, not any interior voids such as rooms. I kind of doubt it could do much with a lot of shapes such as spirals also, the milling head would have a tough time getting in to do the cutting. There's another type of technology, 3D lithography that I believe can do anything SL can build. Getting the data files built would be pretty tricky though without LL support. Actually, maybe LL should offer this as a service. http://www.xpress3d.com/?src=g3dprinting
