I mean, seriously... if some brat (and the organization who repeatedly allows said brats to enter and thrive in their organization) wants to play around, can't they do it in the preview grid? That would be an asset (pardon the pun) to SL in stress testing in an environment ... meant to be stress tested.

It's not fun if it isn't "real," unfortunately.

I'm going to blog this whole thing. I'm going to suggest that the permabanning extend into when SL -> Metaverse.

It's virtual world software, not some kind of MENSA meeting.

One person's actions do not give you an excuse to start calling every member of a group you have a known grudge against a "mouthbreathing troll" or whatever pseudo-intellectual insult is popular nowadays.

Chill the hell out dude.

I'm sorry, I can't quite hear you over the tiniest violin in the world playing music for the party(ies) responsible.

Better on preview than on the main grid, yeah, but Brent will still come and scold you if you try doing stuff that you/they allready know will kill the sims. Seen it happen. :)

I think what we're forgetting here is that the asset server handles both. At least that was indicated yesterday when people reflexively tried to hit Preview when the main grid was down. Wouldn't work, from what I recall.

The real solution is to have people test dangerous scripts where they are meant to be 'tested'. In the Island Sandbox. Linden Lab can determine what they want to do, in the innocent-vs-guilty arena, since they have all the logs for evidence. All we can do is speculate.

I think the point has been reached where members of this group have caused so much damage it is fair to assume that anyone who chooses to remain in the group is a griefer, either real or potential.

They did this to attack people. Its no fun being a wolf if you don't have sheep to prey upon.

Unfortunately, it is not just one individual. This group historically generates this kind of person. Just search the forums for 'w-hat' and you'll see for yourself that this is not an isolated incident.
