1. HUD - finally we can create our own graphical interfaces for SL!

2. P2P - Yay! Everyone is breathing a sigh of relief.

3. SL Map API done and more Web Services coming soon... Truly amazing.

4. Water Ripples, ok, well I can't see them but I'm sure they're cool. And SL didn't have to go down for a week in order to enable them.

Ok, now, if only they could

a) Add Zoning of some kind to deal with impeach bush and crew

b) Add some code to deal with the grid attacks

Then I'm sure we'll all be ecstatic.

(Speedtree and better caching would be cool, too

Last time I checked there wasn't much available in the way of employment in Boardman. I could become the local hooker I guess.. hang out in the meth lab with the rats.

Someone has a bunch of land for sale there... are those the plots you're talking about? Got 1200USD to spare for 1008m ? I tried finding the fountain of youth on the land but wasn't able to. So I just don't get it.

Pretty much, and sadly, those are nothing but an urban myth.

1.8 is behaving pretty nicely for me though. I can see textures again as opposed to grey boxes. Very decent of them.

I think HUDs are great. I've been building loads, I'm a bit of an info junkie.

1.8 is also running very smoothly for me - I'd say there was a definite performance increase. Apart from some problems I've been having with clothing textures.
