a question...I have some flowers that I've set to temp_on_rez. They reproduce slowly and have a comparatively short life span, so they're not threatening to take any sims down.
The question I have, though, is why they seem to be counting against our sims when I look at the prim usage tab on the land controls....is this a sign I'm setting their status incorrectly, or is something else going on? Thanks in advance.

Someone just explained some of this to me today. When you're looking up prim count in your about land, you'll see the temp rezzed objects listed next to the person that rezzed them, but they won't lower your total land prim count... (if that is what you were asking)

Actually there are flowers that are particle based. 1 prim for the whole works. Particle flowers look good and don't abuse prim limits. :/ oh well...

I think the object in your temp rezzer (boo! hiss!) doesn't have the temp-rez box ticked in its properties and is therefore casuing a perm object to be rezzed then unrezzed over and over again thus counting towards your prim limit.
But Yiffy is right, particle based flowers are less hassle, look fantastic and look as if the whole field has been planted. I used the bedazzled free one and was very impressed with the results.
