Might want to get a last look, maybe take a few pics, of SL before its covered with squids, octupii, waving flags, seaweed, flexible pinwheels, etc.
'Twould be a good time for those who haven't gone to the preview grid to drop in.

05-09-2006 18:31
Cmon gais we need to go back to 1.9.0 because 1.9.1 is lame and all of the lights are broken and must be rescripted again and... ... oh, nevermind...

debug>rendering>features>flexible objects
Turned to off on my system. I want bug fixes not new features.

It's important for folks to stop in the preview, even if only for long enough to crash.
Much better to crash in preview than to let the crashing occur after the preview grid becomes real.
It can be fun to buy and try stuff in the preview grid, and it's good for folks to see what is up with things like changed sunlight effects and other changes so folks can possibly head off bad design ideas before they become coded into granite.
For most of this preview, I have a significant reduction in my gray loading texture problem. If anyone has slow texture loading problem as bad as I do you might enjoy just being able to see SL looking somewhat nice.
If you've gone and crashed before, it might be good to go again, the code does change, so new visits can yield new information.
For the diligent and hardworking, there are the official bug tests to run.
