Hmm 'disable camera constraints' _and_ switch to turn off 'limit select distance'

Not sure yet if the ability to operate items from across the sim is universally great idea, but it does come handy :s

Just received in world a message that they have to shut down the grid and restart because of an 'issue'.

I noticed none of my friends were online - which is odd, at least one usually is - except of course they want us to look at that damn blog instead of here for updates.

I think the limit distance will be great if you can lower it. One of the things that drives me nuts about linking a 55 prim object is that everytime I try to click-drag select, I end up selecting a ton of my neighbors prims that are behind a wall...

I have had to use a platform about 600m up just so I could quickly link and unlink things... if it works, it will be an awesome feature!!!

You know, there are options to 'select only my objects' and 'select only moveable objets', probably help you a lot :)

There's a toggle to "select only my object" that prevents exactly that, i think? In Tools menu iirc ^^;

And the limit distance can't be lowered but the opposite, from what i can see... you can turn the switch off and select/edit things hundred meters away ^^;;

Just for shits and giggles I tried to log in a few minutes ago... I got as far as downloading the upgrade... I managed that with no issues... figured MAYBE the grid is actually up, so I logged in.... NOPE... got the message that the grid is closed for maint. As usual, I am confused, but it's ok... I grabbed my bubblewrap, and am prepared to pop until the grid really is up again.....
