Lets document the map update so far the giant cllock is in 11 sims so well know exactly when they update the map in those sims after a few updates of the map well have a good idea of what time your sim gets updated good for a lot of things like rezzing a temporary sign doing artwork that spans several sims and then deleteing it after the update come to my place in the center of fujin see the purple sign next to its a box touch t and get your own fully modable clock all open scripts it uses about 20 prims and they sauy the map updater is going to satrt up again today tonight knowing them prlly tommorow anyway Its free

There a way you can remake this to incorporate the date as well. I've been wondering how often the grid map is updated.

Erm, how many prims is it, and how much land does it span? (Ie; 512, 1024, etc)

The "font" first appeared in Scientific American in the 1950's in an article titled "Electronic Numbers". It predates computer font usage.

Hi Sorry punctuation guy I'll be sure and puntuate. Um you guy's ask a lot of questions. The phantom thing no. because each number is 2 prims and anything you make phantom makes everything connected to it phantom. It spans um... count the digits multiply by 10. and um you need an exact number of prims well, its 2 per number and 3 per background unless you delete the back ground it's up to you. So 15 I think without the bacground. Um oh bad picture thats the old 65 prim one. I didnt have a picture of the new version uploaded. I also have a 65 prim version but havent set that out for free yet. oh and it changes colors every day. - Sunday = White
- Monday = Blue
- Tuesday = Green
- Wednesday = Orange
- Thursday = Red
- Saturday = Purple
So you'll need to check it once a week and see what color it is for the date. I tried to make it sim friendly and low lag so it only checks for change of day every 5 minutes. The second timer is the only one checking the clock every second the rest check every 5 or 10 seconds I forget.

Well last report from Linden the map will be fixed yesterday or last night, Another Linden being to optomistic I guess.(no actually was updated just not posted for all to see yet) Anyway the free clock box is on my pier with an assortment of Giant clocks from 15 to 65 prims all open source scripts inside them. There all about the same size, but they are fully modable. So make them whatever size fits. So far there in - The Future ? not sure why the clock didnt show wrong color?
- Maroon 12:01:51AM wed 12:38:01AM thur
- Atiu 12:42wednesday obscured by stuff above it
- Zoe 12:14 thursday AM
- Montmartre 12:31:13 AM wed AM12:37:51 thur
- Jessie didn't make it big enough to be able to tell what it says
- Abitiibi 12:54:09 AM wed 12:57:13 AM thur
- Fujin =simplified it some hope its readable soon
- Pierce ??:29:26 PM ??:12:38 PM no clue why the first 2 numbers dont show?
- Cryphia must a been that color?
- Hawthorne *ny .12:21:54AM thur
- Garrison *ny 12:05:50 PM thur
- Iris *ny 12:38:27 pm thur
- Clay *ny 12:26:53 thur
- Grant *ny 12:41:56 AM thur
*ny means the clock wasn't there yet for the last update so I'll try to keep these updated. It seems the map is updated 1 day before they post it. All the multi colored clocks have been updated to the new solid color ones. I need to figure out what color wasn't making the map.

Well why didn't you just ask?
On days when the map updates, it is updated based on the first save for each simulator since midnight of the same day. Since they save every hour, that means that each tile is generated from some snapshot between 12:00 and 1:00 am.
Within this coming week the map generation should become stable enough to run every night.

Thats great! thank you! Save's me a lot of trouble be better if you could narrow it down to a couple minutes but 1 hours good.
