Rez a prim, size it, texture it with the image you want. Then in edit mode, go to the contents tab, drag the items you want in the box into the contents. Still in edit mode, in the general tab, set it to sale as a copy, not original.

ok thanx, is it possible to add text in sl, say like a description? If you want to add text to a prim, you have to add the text to the texture outside of SL (ie with photoshop, etc), and then upload that texture into SL. |

If you want to add text to a prim, you have to add the text to the texture outside of SL (ie with photoshop, etc), and then upload that texture into SL. There's this simple script: CODE default The figures in the < > are the red, green, blue colour values between 0.0 and 1.0. "Make new script" on the prim, put that in, and it'll float above the top. If you need a new line (up to 3) put \n in the middle of the text. Hope that helps. Lewis _____________________

When uploading images to SL, make sure to resize the image to 256 x 256 or 512 x 512. If you can get by with 256, use that. Your store will load much faster for your customers using smaller textures. If you upload an oddly sized texture, it's my understanding that SL strecthes it to fit into one of it's basic types which may warp the image.

Just out of curiousity, what are you going to sell? If it's something that you didn't make yourself, then you'll need to make sure you have transfer permissions on the object.
(just thought I'd mention this, as it's unusual for people to be setting up a shop without ever having uploaded a texture...) |
