You can, but your URLs will be stolen quite quickly and probably resold.
Someone was using stolen URLs with a script I created for them, he was a real a-hole.

In the permission case, you need to be able to provide written proof of such permission if LL asked for it... or for that matter, pretty much anyone else.
I would think that emailed permission would probably be acceptable.
