sigh? Am I getting fussy in my old SL age? lol. Cant log in again!!! IM's sent to the Lindens...no response. Called the 800 Number, no one available. Gosh I am not ususally a gripey one but WOW! Hummm and I am paying $75 a month to be aggrevated by a game? LOL makes me wonder what in the world I am doing!!! I have been playing SL for a little over 2 yrs now, and it seems our Linden Customer Service is going down hill instead of up. And yep, tired of the generic answer that something is 'wrong' with my computer...nothing was wrong with it last night when I logged in 5 times LOL. And its SOOO strange how if you just leave the computer alone and wait a day...wow it fixes itself and you can then log back in SL !!! hehehehe. OK, done bit**ing. Just had to say it!

It resolves the issue usually. It makes sence to rule that out first.

A few things to try:
- Shut down your computer and leave it off for 60 seconds. Reboot. Retry logging on.
- Try disconnecting from the internet and reconnecting. Sometimes connectivity issues are caused by your ISP or modem.
- You could try uninstalling and reinstalling SL with the most current installer available.
- Spend less money on your account each month so you won't feel quite so in-the-red if you can't connect. Spending $75 a month on something you're having trouble getting to work reliably will only frustrate you. Since you can't control SL, the best you can do is control how much you spend on it.

We have several computers in my house and I have found that for some reason SL occasionally makes the DSL and router quit talking to each other. I have to unplug the router for a second... then everything is ok when I plug it back in.

Hi all, I am back in game thanks to the response of the forum. FYI...still no response from Lindens...either in email or phone...thank goodness for fellow SL ers.

my personal experience with the call centre is fantastic.
they provide a free phone number here in the uk which goes through to the usa and they pick up constantly.
no fuss no hassle
maybe they got your number blocked lol
