sandboxes are becoming more and more of a battle ground, whatever sandbox i go to.
my shield reports about 20 or 30 attempts to cage me and orbit.
sometimes i just stand and see people getting caged and orbited,in like 5 or 6 avatars in a row.i still remember when sandboxes where a nice place to share experiences.
THIS HAS GONE TOO FAR

Feel free to tell any shooter happy people to visit "Carnage Island" which is right now testing a custom combat system with a full region designed just for FPS lovers. Currently there is a beta tag that supports multiple respawn points, drowning and more! And if they like that, three more maps will be online shortly at "DeathMatch Island". Instead of just telling them to go away, tell them where to go, and when they want a break from the, uh, Carnage :) , tell them to come back and learn about the other thing they can do in Second Life like you are doing, building the world!

windozer, rez a prim and sit on it while you work. I'm a regular at Cordova and Goguen and that's what I do. If that's a little bit too declassé for you, try one of the many free or cheap non-physical vehicle attchments. To get out of a cage just click on the exterior and select 'sit here'. Works for me. Yes, the combat kiddiez are annoying. The other day I had a n00b with a prim penis piss all over me while I was working. By the time the screen shot came up in my AR, he'd put his offending member away. So much for sending in evidence  Next time I'll just orbit anyone who bugs me. AR's haven't had much effect.

Ok ... it's happenning as I said it would. With the parcels now protected against the griefer favorite Push, they would congregate at sandboxes.

LL? We're waiting for the second part to the anti-grief toolset.

This is true. You can run around shooting everyone and caging them and not get a bit of punishment. But use the same credit card as someone used 2 years ago who got banned and your ass is toast... >.>

AR'S??
unless you are reporting a underage, they sort of mark it as resolved and nothing happens to the offender.

They don't do anything for underage reports either. I've reported three underagers in the last two months, and they're all still online.
