Why is the option to remove names from my screen now gone. It's not like that option in anyway lagged SL or caused unneeded server drag. So. Why?

When I do Edit Prefences, General tab, there is a section labeled "Show Names", with options for Never, Show Temporarily, and Always. Below that are the checkboxes for Hide My Name, Hide My Group Title, and Small Avatar Names.
Is part of that missing on your display?
