My wife is downgrading her account to Basic, and its set to switch over tomorrow. Will she be billed the $9.95/mo tomorrow or will it just downgrade the account and charge nothing? I ask because it's been forever since I've downgraded and forgot how it works.

Last time I downgraded to basic, I was billed $9.95 for the billing cycle I still had land in, and then billed $5.00 the following billing cycle. I have no idea why.

If she goes to her account page,click community at the top and the my account on the following page, when logged in this should be reflected on the account summary as free.
Otherwise it will show the amount due and the date.
I had just upgraded an account and was billed immediatly, so I would assume our accounts are paid in advance; meaning she shouldn't be billed at all.

If you own land or owned land during that billing period of the last 30 days, you will be billed the land tier fee prorated for those days, but should not be billed the $9.95. That's how they billed me when I downgraded before.
