Pizzed Off!

Why would I be Pizzed Off??

Cuz I just discovered that 12 of my now irreplacable Starax Statosky items have gone missing from my inventory! (In addition to 2 boats valued at 1500L).

I suspect that over time I will discover other items have gone missing.

That's why I'm Pizzed Off

What's the point of putting money (USD) and time into this game that is broken?

I've just recently experienced some inventory loss. I don't know what I lost but my inventory was at 27k a few days ago, now it is at about 24k. Yes, I know I need to clean it, I try to delete/clean it everyday, but it's so hard!

EXACTLY! There is no point in buying anything, creating in the SL world, or investing any substantial amount of time and energy.

I know. I don't buy anything for a house in RL because there could be an accidental fire and it could all turn to ash!

Most things lost from inventory will return if you clear your cache and relog.

Hmm, I wonder what the premiums would be on SL inventory loss insurance?

In other games I have played . WOW for example. there is an established procedure for replacing items lost from inventory. In WOW, every player is entitled to a certain number of such "special restores."

Umm, sorry for referring to SL as a "game."

That was smart. ;)

But unlike WoW, users can create things that aren't made by the devs. There's millions of items in-world, I don't know if/how they track inventories and detect what was lost.

LMAO! Me too! In my house, I have a bed from Ikea, my computer, my DJ equipment and music (which I'm fearful of 24-7), some DVDs, some clothes, and a unicycle. It feels much better to not lose everything you didn't have.

But, in SL, I'm not cosmically "IN" SL... .I'm "IN" RL.... but in SL, I don't buy anything, cause I don't wanna lose it.... and I don't need it anyway.... I guess I'm an anti-materialist? ...nah, its that the principle of the SL world should operate in a way where when ya friggin REZ something, its THERE!

By the way, you know who taught me this?
