Pray tell why it is now impossible to sort by date within one folder. This needs to be added back in. I can't find anything anymore!

If you open you inventory window, then look at the top of that and go to Sort-> By date, that should solve your problem. I think that's what you're asking, hope this helps!

I'd love to be able to reorder things, putting my favorite items in a folder over the ones I rarely use or alphabetical sorting.

I'm having a hard time keeping my inventory in some sort of order so I can find things.

That said, the find feature is wonderful.

I gotta admit I hate the new inventory "features". My inventory was what would have appeared to be a haphazard mess to everyone else, but I knew where everything was. Now I have to waste time searching for things every time I want something. Why did the Lindens bother with this "fix"? Seems completely pointless and quite a hassle, in my opinion.

Some of the needed fixes to the inventory system are available for testing in the preview grid.

The url for getting the preview grid program is Try The Preview Grid! Please!

They are planning to put the new version up Wednesday, I think, so those unhappy with the current inventory system who want to do something to help should go to the preview grid and try it out, try to break it, offer suggestions for improvements in the Preview forum and file bug reports using the inworld Help ./ Report Bug dialog.

Bug reports in the forums are good, but they also need to be done with the inworld bug reporter.
