Baha. Good luck, LL.
Why not put a button which says "Bore Me" at the bottom, too?

Button placement is probably the #1 thing they do that speaks for them as a company.

You just noticed that build button?
Maybe that should be replaced with a "Buy Lindens" button, I think the business model suggests that currency purchasing should occur more than object editing.
Maybe we could have a choice of producer or consumer modes for the interface.
This thread should probably be in the feature feedback forum, maybe?

i belive that LL is trying to cater to everyones needs at once...and hats off to them i say. They could turn around and not say a word on the updates or show any data, and say nothing. I admire LL for their honesty and trying to work with the community. Maybe its message to all the residents that we needs to start building more, being creative, beautify this virtual word we adore then wasting our time going to event after event. Or on the logical side. you can seach events in the find button, why do you need 2? Ya' dont.

Build button is handy as a visual cue for me... it's easy for me to see when it lights up. (In addition to the little boxy at the top.) Then I know, buildable land, woohoo!

Yeah, but they completely removed the event based economy.
The event button was a cue to all new players to go to events. Now there is a build button.
New players are not going to want to build.

I think they shoudl have left the events button. For a variety of reasons, but including that it would be more beneficial to new players to see that "event" button (I remember seeing it myself, and pushing it). By the time they want to build, they know where to find that. I would think, cause I did. coco
