Phoenix and I are working on a Newcomers' Guide. Since I was (and in some ways, still am) a newbie not too long ago, I remember the things that are really helpful to learn right ago, like camera controls.
But to make sure it's a complete guide, what information do YOU think would be helpful to newbs?

Heya Katt!

I've got a folder of stuff I've put together to help new players get off their feet. Contact me in game sometime and I'll show ya what I've done so far! :-)

Regards,

On my very first day, I was given a folder FULL of places newbie avs should check out...
I will pass it to you in game...
Some of it, I am sure you already have.. but there may be some stuff in there you don't.

If you don't want it, just discard.

I am also pulling together a couple of boxes of formal wear, one for gentlemen and one for ladies. These are freebies gatherred from around SL, but I am picky, so they are pretty nice. Formal clothes, jewelry and shoes. You never know when you might need something a little more dressy. Let me know if you are setting up a newbie help station. I would be happy to donate my collection.

I think a guide on how to wear clothes would be wonderful. And perhaps a warning about what to do when you wear a box on your head.

www.zapoteth.com has a Tutorials page.. The odds and ends has a few things I've been asked a lot, which isn't common knowledge amongst newbies :) Feel free to use it..
