The New Citizen's group, founded by Brace Coral, appears to be under attack by a rouge officer.
That's just a gues based on every member being ejected.
Anyone know how to contact Brace when she's not in-world?

Mebbie Linden can halt all action on the group.

All members have been ejected. I don't know if an officer can eject other officers or not

They can't. They have to be voted out or leave.

They can't. They have to be voted out or leave. Actually, the group founder can call up Linden Labs and force-downgrade someone, but only the founder. _____________________

The group emblem was replaced with a non-PG picture of Bobby and Hank Hill.

Here's her blog if it helps as a starting point:
http://brace-coral.livejournal.com/ As pointed out above she appears to be spending her time in "A Tale From The Desert" though she has commented in places that she does return to Second Life on occasion. _____________________

A tale in the desert? That looks pretty cool.
Egypt theme and not too bad looking graphics. I wonder if they have a forum? ![]() _____________________

I wonder who the officer really worked for. You must be a Linden alt who is trying to keep people from leaving this crap hole. IMO A Tale in the Desert is a great game. It fosters community developing and laws created by the citizens which is exactly what you all have been whining about that SL got away from in its initial vision. Fortunately the number of those who play ATITD are mature adults and teens who happen to work together in harmony building a community and reaching common goals together. This makes it easy to almost know everyone who is playing and not feel like its a popularity contest. They help you reach your goals and you can take pride in your accomplishments and those of your community. You do not have to resort to trolling the forums creating advertising bullshit or character assasinations just to get your name known in order to get ahead in a fricking metaverse. It is not a sess pool that opens the doors to the masses who have nothing in common but to compete in dog eat dog world while pretending to actually like each other. |

It's still a stupid game, I invite people to try it out, and tell me otherwise. "adults and teens" -> "not a sess pool that opens the doors to the masses". regards. _____________________

I like Brace but when I played AAITD, and this was a while back, I started calling it the "work game". All work, no reward, except the skills to do... more work. Unsolvable puzzles made up by the creator on the fly, which needed spreadsheets, and I am not joking, to even begin to comprehend. No solo play really viable.
There were things that I found charming about the game, but I had to stop playing, the sense of futility and large organized groups beating everyone else out on the latest "discovery" made it a tiresome grind. Maybe things have changed since then, I don't know. _____________________

Presently I am running around gathering things.
The graphics are not bad.. the feel of the game is much like Guild Wars or something. It is too early for me to say sucks or dont suck yet, but I already am finding that people are friendly and very willing to help you learn the ropes. I keep looking for my darn camera control though lol. _____________________

Enjoy the grind.
Of all MMO's like that I played, WoW had the least Grind. Grind sucks IMHO, and I'd never play a game with grind again. This is why I play SL. Tale in desert has the worst grind ever. _____________________

Tale in desert has the worst grind ever. I am not big on the grind aspects either in games. Some like TSO would not have much to offer without it lol. I will casualy mess around with this new game. I havent seen anything to give me that "Wow" factor yet. I do think it has potential. _____________________
