Any non-qualifying 'events' out there?

Do you have a non-profit, interactive (but not hosted) build that is going 24 hours 7 days a week which does not qualify as an event listing, because it isn't hosted and is ongoing?
Examples of these would be Aotearoa NZ pavillion, Virtual Hallucinations, Ivory Tower.
Do you have an excellent build out there that cannot be posted in the events listing, but you find it gets lost in the classifieds?
Or if you are someone who just knows about one.

Please contact me inworld (when I am online as msgs are often capped) or send me a notecard with details of the build and where it is in SL.
I would like to hear from you.

Thanx in advance

Its its not hosted and its ongoing its not an event, its a fixture - see classifieds.

This post makes me think of newspapers irl:

Things in CLASSIFIEDS have always been things to SELL.

Except for "LOST PETS" - which generally get to run their ad for FREE.

Charitable events - plus community things like library do'ins and such - generally have a separate place for listings, which they also get to do for free, as it is a community service for the newspaper to tell us about them.

Now the Ivory Tower is not a commercial place. It is no longer true that *any* place is in some way commercial, because it is no longer true (or soon won't be) that we have DWELL.

THEREFORE - it is crazed that places like this cannot be on Events for free, whereas totally commercial places having events CAN.

Previously, I have proposed a category in events for just such things - ongoing community things, like the Touchstone Fair, and also things like Ivory Tower, and also that place that person had that was a tour of a country and its art, or something.

Obviously, the events calendar needs a category for things that are ongoing and need not have a host present. Maybe something called, "Community Events and Services," or whatever its corollary rl newspaper sections are called.

Think about how much better the Ivory tower would be if there was a host to take people through the lessons in person.

A building, regardless of content, is not an event. (In exactly the same way an all year never ending yard sale is not an event).

Unfortunatly, even after dwell has gone, these content buildings will be just as commercial as is is now (just because you dont 'see' any money doesn't mean its not commercial). Someone has to pay tier to keep it in world, it took many many hours to build, new content takes time to develop, etc.
