I found a store the other day when I was searching for places that had SLBoutique and SLExchange ATMs, and instead of having any ATMs, the store owner had actually placed his SLBoutique wallet next to a Ginko Bank teller. The wallet has floating text that instructs you to pay it money to deposit cash in 'your' SLB account. But it only pays the object owner; it is NOT an ATM.
Anyway, it seemed really fishy to me, and I've let the proprieters of SLBoutique know the details. I can't post the store name or owner's name on this forum, but I did post that information at another forum.
Again, I don't know if this is an intentional scam, but it just seems really strange that he'd place his wallet next to a real ATM for another SL service. Just beware... if you see something that says "SLBoutique Wallet" on it and you're not the owner, it will pay the owner, not you.

I can confirm money paid into someone else wallet isn't refunded, nor does it show up in the depositer's SLB account.
Not sure how the wallet works, but it sure is easy to scam people with it if indeed money deposited into it goes to its owner and not SLB.
I IM's the owner of the store in question when he was online and received no response from him.

ah ok so this is someone stealing money by using SLBoutique's name rather than SLBoutique stealing money and not delivering product.

By the way, i found and removed one of those wallets myself today, in front of the SLboutique ATM in my shop.

Best way I have found is to just pay Commerce Leader directly. That av is the "front" for SLB. But don't take my word for it (or anyone else's, except for maybe FlipperPA), check it at http://www.slboutique.com/index.php?p=atmFrom: someone Don't feel like flying all over the map to make a deposit? Once you have linked your avatar, you can simply pay Commerce Leader (the SLBoutique "bank account" in world to make a deposit! Simply go to FIND, PEOPLE, and type Commerce Leader into the search box. When Commerce Leader's profile appears, simply select "PAY"; the amount you pay to Commerce Leader will be credited to your accounts within a minute or so! I find it much easier than searching for my SLB wallet.
