Left Click - Pay - ??? - Profit

Question on the left-click pay option.

Frankly, this worries me. I honestly don't know a thing about it, but ... does clicking the pay enabled object immediately deduct an amount of $L from my account, or is there some sort of dialogue that pops up, similar to the right-click - pay option?

It just brings up the pay OPTION. Nothing more than changing the default left click action. nothing more dramatic.
