Just Wondering.

I was just wondering where I could find some skins, makeup, and hair, because I've tried to find a clothing store with these things, but none of them are really that great. What do you use? I'm kind of new here, so any help you can give me would be great. I'm just asking because most SL girls on here are gorgeous and I was wondering where you got most of your stuff. Thanks!

I wear Toast Bard's skins (Fashionably Dead) cause they're wai cute and kinda cartoony, like SL (I think photorealistic skins are really eerie)

Hair: try Panache (HoseQueen), Lost, Zyrrah

Clothes: that completely depends on your style but LUXE (Lo Jacobs) has awesomely detailed stuff. Also try Canimals. OH and I just discovered Arbel Vogel's store in Slootsville and I plan on blowing lots of cash there in the future.

Honestly what I do is straight-up ask people I see where they got such-n-such an item. There are *so* many great designers out there now, its hard to keep track of them all.

I hope this isn't too much of a topic hijack, but what do other people look for in SL clothing? I would love to make more clothing to upload to SL, and I would love to see what other people like.

What I look for is non-trashy clothes and no black. So far I haven't seen much.

My favorite places to go:

Illusion Island: Has clothes from two stores, shoes and some hair and furniture.

IC Designz: Good camo there and some fun jeans.

Skin/Hair/Shoes/Clothes: Nevermore

Hair: Here Comes Trouble

Skins: Celestial Studios

Hair: I LOOOOVE Panache, I've bought more stuff there than I care to admit.

I'd like to know where I can find a decent pair of well-tailored black trousers that don't make a feature of my belly-button.

If you're looking for more conservative clothing, yard sales are really great to look in. I know it's kind of weird to shop from there, but I got so much clothing for like 10L each, and they're really nice stuff. I suggest you look in the events section for yard sales.

Second skin....never heard of it...but I saw this really cool futuristic place that sold really cool skins.

For skins, I recommend Ambyance2 Anubis and Munchflower Zaius. That's where I've bought most of mine, and all of the ones I wear regularly.
For hair, Lost Therian, HoseQueen McLean and Zyrra Falcone for Panache., and Elikapika (oi, I've forgotten the last name, so sorry!)

for skin and hair, both of them are from Nora

But my look isn't exactly... uh... glamorous.
