Seriously I get to learn new stuff like how liberating SL is for disabled people and that there is a condition where two-eyed people can't see in stereo.

If you read the forums for the scripting and technical things it can make you a lot smarter. It all depends on why you are in the forums in the first place. Just to come to the forums to complain or read most of the garbage makes the forums useless; however, if you really read the forums for the purpose it was intended you can learn a lot.
