I Left My Heart In SF, but Should Linden Labs?

Worrywort here, but the geomagnetic north pole is moving pretty fast these past few years and the effect on the western US is amazing. If you want to use a compass here, you need to adjust about 13 degrees for "declination". Ok, who cares? Maybe the tectonic plates colliding underneath California may care. There is always that possibility that the Big One, or even the not so Big One may wreak some colossal damage in SF.

Are our friends at Linden Labs prepared for earthquakes? Or, will our wonderful SL universe go down with their office one morning?

Is there a contingency plan?

Since a large chunk of the rest of the US may end up under water (global warming), and those of us that live in California take earthquakes into account when building, I can't think of a better place to be. ;)

I don't think there's a ton to worry about. Read through this thread, from about a month ago, and there are some reassuring comments in there. ;)

The facility at 365 Main Street where SL's server is hosted is amazing. It's military spec earthquake resistant. :)
