Help with popups...

I feel like I'm losing my mind. One day something is there, next it's not and I don't remember it with enough detail to be 100% certain it was there in the first place. BAH!

Anyway - here's my question. I'm pretty sure I should be getting some kind of popup when I hover my curser over something that is for sale right? Shouldn't a box pop up telling me the price and creator and name and whatnot? Well I'm not getting that. I can only check the price of things by clicking on "buy" and waiting to see how much it is, but it's only a matter of time before I misclick when trying to hit "cancel"...

Anyone have any idea what it is I'm trying to say? *giggle* How do I get that popup back? I haven't messed with my settings in forever as far as I know...

there's a setting you can turn back on to get it. not in SL so can't check, but i -think- it's in preferences. if not check view and world and those areas for it. sorry my memory is so bad. it happened to me too.

View ---> Hover Tips ---> Show Tips (I had scoured the preferences 10 times already).

The shortcut for this is ctrl+shift+t...
That explains everything - last week I was trying to remember the shortcut for show transparencies which is ctrl+alt+t - That's where I went wrong.
