Do the casinos and stores in the sandbox bother you?

Yes.
Why? If you're going to do something that makes money in SL, at least have the decency to buy a plot of land so you're actually giving Linden Lab something for the privilege. There are also the rules of most sandboxes - no selling, no combat. We need sandbox police to enforce the rules and make the in-game experience better for those of us who don't have a problem following a few simple rules. Lewis _____________________

I agree with Lewis here. The sandbox rules are very clear and casinos / stores in the sandboxes are a violation of those rules. Though I disagree with sandbox police as that opens the door for the self-styled sandbox police groups. I think a single Linden on sandbox duty would suffice to cover all eventualites in the Cordova-Goguen-Newcomb sandbox zone.

I usually cover casinos with prim blocks, as well as objects people leave out for sale or tips. Untextured so minimal lag caused.

I've reported vendors in sandboxes before and they usually get taken care of quite quickly.
There's enough crap in sandboxes as it is without people adding to the problem deliberately. |

I dont agree with them at all.
Aside from the fact that they are taking up space someone might like to use it sets a horrible precedent. Soon a sandbox will be nothing but vendors and yard sales if it is allowed to go by unnoticed. They should pay land tier or rent space like everyone else. Sandboxes are for creativity.. not this stuff. _____________________
