My Mozilla (firefox) lost all of it's setting and bookmarks. I believe SL had something to do with this since there are a bunch of Mozilla/SL preference files on my system now.
Could someone tell me how to get my bookmarks back.
I had SL up and when I started Mozilla it said my profile is in use and I have to make a new one. I did and all my old shit is gone.

It's a known issue with Mozilla/Firefox that you sometimes get a particular profile locked. Do a google for it. You might even find something on a blog.

Hi, I use http://mozbackup.jasnapaka.com/ , which has saved me from many nasty foobars and profile transfers to other computers.

This happened to me once before, but I don't think it was SL related. Ordinal is right, you have to delete the lock file.
This is Windows I assume, yes? Go to your Profile directory (it should be something like C:\Documents and Settings\<Windows login/user name>\Application Data\Mozilla\Profiles\<Profile name>\ )
There should be a parent.lock file there. Delete it and it should rectify the issue.
