Finally...the answer to the burning question How to avoid paying high land tiers for worthless hub land...RELEASE THE LAND!

I did.. all that I had except Gypsy and dumping that might be next. Congrats Schwan and others for being fast enough to grab some.. must be those land scanners again!

The money was already lost so why bother with tier payments. One hub lot that I paid 99999 linden for was grabbed up as soon as I released it and is set for sale for 19999 L.

4096 sq m M rated land right on a hub for 19999 L. Amazing. Is land worth less than the tier cost to hold it? Does that make financial sense?

You just summed up why I'm not owning land anymore, or plan to again.

Interesting. Even if hub land is devalued with p2p shouldn't it be worth whatever the average price is for whatever the land looks like elsewhere? I'm trying to sell some remote snow land. I would think if anything the value of that would go up with p2p. It isn't selling at L5.5/m so every 2 or 3 days it will likely go down .5 with two weeks to sell it before my tier kicks in.

Well, if the land's on a telehub it probably looks pretty cruddy. :)

Is there a particular reason you just didn't sell it for 3 L$ / m2?

Cheap land gets picked up within 60 minutes. There are probably about 30 people who ping the land for sale list every hour.

Basically, 4096*2, you just gave away 30 USD.

Hmm, though, I guess I understand the anger at losing 99999 L$.
