If someone IMs you, saying "I am looking for a girl to cam with, can you help?", just what does "to cam" mean?

To cam = to communicate with whilst using a webcam, in general. But in the context it may well be the case that such communication might not be entirely limited to conversations about the weather and the pattern on said girl's wallpaper.

I had thought it might be short for "to camera" and might mean taking SL screenshots, which might range from innocentto sleazy or pornographic, or possibly a typo for "to camp with", which I would think would mean someone to IM with while camping.
I was afraid to ask; I referred them to the Ahern welcome area or to clubs.
