my problem is ...

so I create a Torus.. then go to edit the hole size BAM! torus changes to some completly random setting.. ***FIST THROUGH MONITOR***

Occlusion (my guess btw) is causing a lot of random prims to dissapear too.. so when I build something and come back a while later I have to clean up all the prims that magically went invisible...

is it me or is building incredibly annoying since the update?

Indeed, had a display stand plain disappear in front of me while i was editing it yesterday. Showed up after relogging but gave a "did i just send that thing across into another sim" moment, alright.

Guess disabling occlusion in debug menu while building might be a good idea...

Editing a flexy cylinder's hollowness makes it have a tapered tip sometimes. Odd.

Things ive noticed.

* When you edit a few prims in a mass link of objects, and try to move them, they dont stay together (atleast 1 prim lags behind).
* Prims go invisable a lot.
* Resizing a prim is very jumpy. move it a small amount and you completely shrink it to 0.010's o.o

Ok, so I'm not the only one who's noticed some Glitches in building.

The first thing I noticed was when making a cylinder, I clicked on the hole size to make it bigger and BOTH spinners change, leaving me with a flattened cylinder with a hole size of 0.

I'm having trouble zooming in close to the tiny prims for adjustment. I spent most of yesterday working on linking tiny chain links and what a pain. I felt like I was back about 2 updates ago..or was it three when the camera kept going through the prim or stopped me from getting really close. I got it, but I'm not ready to double check to see if any of the links are true to the linking or not. My eyes need a rest as well as my fingers.

I had 2 needle shaped ones disappear. For awhile I thought maybe I had linked it to a rock that was just beyond my line of vision. If anyone comes to Gerstle and gets stuck on a needle, sorry. :) Bandaids are at the nurses station.

Prims turning invisble when edditing objects..happened first with my fans. I thought 'oh shit, I killed half my work.'

Sure, only 5 minutes putting it together right..but hey..when half your creation doesn't look like its there, you panic.

Ohh do I know that feeling! Stupid move of the moment was making a 235 prim necklace to see 2/3s of it gone when I looked away for a moment! I wanted to quit SL right then. Must be the stubborn streak because I stuck it out and redid it. SL can be great fun!

I had this problem, too -- I even put a bigger prim near the small prims I was working on, so I could zoom in easier, and I could still barely zoom in. I thought it was just me being uncoordinated, but maybe not. I'd also wondered if maybe the camera settings had been reset, though since I don't remember what my settings were before, I've no way to check this. It seems kind of unlikely, too.
