It would be interesting if the "Impeach George Bush" signs were changed to something pro republican and pro war in Iraq.
Lazarus Divine ought to try that, that would be even more ruckus.

I always thought Lazarus would make even more money if he did exactly that.

What if some iraqui sympathist shells out some pocket money, and puts up 'YANKEES GO HOME FROM IRAQ! BRING BACK SADDAM!' signs all over the grid? Hmm... or even worse, signs saying '9/11 USA - YOU DESERVED IT!' I wonder how long such a sign would stay up?

Start another alt, put up 'pro war' signs. Let's go full-bore with ProLife ProChoice! Now there's a debate that's fun for the whole planned family!

If I remember correctly there used to be tons of Pro George Bush, Pro War signs around, serving the same purpose.
I suspect the Lindens just removed those, or took other disciplinary action, thus causing the change in insincere propaganda.
It sure is amusing seeing the anti land baron people supporting actions that will increase Anshe Chung's rental business. Hee hee.

I actually signed a technical solution petition... BY PROK!!!! OMG!!! lol But it's a good one. And it seems to be good enough for the 'if they take our free speech away they'll be taking up away next time' whiners...

I think this one would fall in the broadly offensive classification and be removed.

From: Issarlk Chatnoir I think this one would fall in the broadly offensive classification and be removed. Well, to some people, the Bush sign is broadly offensive, too, I think. And the 9/11 sign can be only a political opinion to some (many?) Europeans. Who decides what's broadly offensive and what's not? What are the criteria?

From: Ash Qin Lindenlab has final say. So they can just say 'it's broadly offensive', and remove anything at will?

I wonder how long such a sign would stay up? Enh, already been done. Go to W-Hat central in Baku - there might still be their monument to the World Trade Center with the slogan, "We're falling for you!" That was before they weren't getting enough attention and decided to start crashing the grid.

Prokofy told me he is opposed to a technical solution and favors regulations like size and location restrictions. Did he change his mind or is he working both sides of the street?
