Give a Friend a Second Life – Invite them into Closed Beta Do you have some friends who would really like to start living a Second Life? As members of the Closed Beta community you can now give two friends “priority status” to participate with you. How? 1. Check out the Closed Beta specifications ( http://lindenlab.com/beta_1.php) to make sure your friend is ready to become a Lifer. Remember - they gotta have broadband and a computer which meets the spec. 2. Ask them to complete the Closed Beta Registration form ( http://lindenlab.com/beta_2.php) and have them provide your name in the answer to “Why do you want to be a beta tester?” Thanks for being part of Second Life. We’re continually amazed at the dedication and creativity of our growing community. See you in-world….

From: Taco Rubio and have them provide your name in the answer to “Why do you want to be a beta tester?” I'm sorry, but that just made me laugh out loud: "Why do you want to be a beta tester?" "Taco Rubio." (hey, don't they also ask you to state motivation if you apply to be a Linden....? )
