Ok .. I have no idea where to put this thread .. so I will try it here .. I"ve noticed that now .. when you where more than one layer (ie: jacket, shirt .. pants, socks .. etc) that you go into "color changing" mode .. where your avi picks up the textures of everything around you and nothing that you actually put on. Am I the only one to notice this? (god I hope not >.<  ANY suggestions? (or possible fix in the future?) ty  |

Some video cards have had similar problems, usually a driver issue.Your video drivers are up to date right? Overheating can cause this as well. Sometimes files become corrupted in the client so uninstalling SL and reinstalling from the downloads page may fix it as well.

I only layer my clothing when the weather is cold. The colder it is, the more layers I wear.

I've experienced this problem before and thanks to someone (sadly can't remember who) suggested that if the clothing item is modifable (sp?) then go into appearance and adjust any slider slightly and then put it back. It worked for me on several occasions. Hope this helps. MJ  |

Clean your cache then it should be fine, cause it's just the file in your cache that is corrupted not the piece of clothing it's self.
